The National Governing Body

The DanceSport Federation of Ireland is the National governing body for DanceSport in Ireland and a member of the World DanceSport Federation.  This organisation was established in 2014. The rules committee is responsible for defining competition rules which are aligned to WDSF International Rules.  These rules set clear guidelines for competitive dancing in Ireland.  All registered Athletes & Teachers of DanceSport Federation are required to familiarise themselves and comply with these rules.  Non- compliance with the rules will impact an Athletes competition results.
